The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a German World War II fighter aircraft that was the backbone of the Luftwaffe's fighter force. The Bf 109 first saw operational service in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War and was still in service at the dawn of the jet age at the end of World War II in 1945. It was one of the most advanced fighters of the era, including such features as all-metal monocoque construction, a closed canopy, and retractable landing gear. It was powered by a liquid-cooled, inverted-V12 aero engine.

The painting exceeded my expectations. A beautiful piece of artwork!
My wife and I were looking for photos of places we have been to showcase within our home, highlighting some of the adventures that we had been on together. Adam had coincidentally been to a few of the places that we have recently seen. His eye for photography and capturing scenes that we had been to in person are superb! Looking forwards to more adventures with my wife, and seeing Adam's perspective on what those places show.

That being said, his work is amazing and had found a place in my home. This Chicago skyline on metal has always been one of my favorites. It sits neatly atop this Italian cabinet in our living room.
I've also had the pleasure of watching him work. He is painstakingly patient setting up for some of his shots. It looks like a lot of work, but the results are beautiful.
