This short sea stack was separated from a much larger rock outcrop known as Point Meriwether near Hug Point State Recreation Site on Oregon's coast, just south of Cannon Beach. Hug Point offers a beautiful beach, tide pools, caves. and a small waterfall on the north end. It's the perfect place for a day at the beach, away from much more crowded areas.
