Maho Bay is known for its soft sand and calm, shallow waters. The sand and seagrass sea floor make it a good place to see sea turtles and stingrays. Harper's Bazaar named Maho Bay one of the best beaches in the world. Sadly, these two picturesque palm trees did not survive the wrath of Hurricane Irma in 2017.
