This camera has some fantastic new features that make me foam at the mouth..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a short list:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>21.1 MP Full Frame CMOS Sensor<\/li>\n<li>1080p HD Video!<\/li>\n<li>Digic IV processor<\/li>\n<li>14-bit A\/D<\/li>\n<li>3.9 fps continuous shooting<\/li>\n<li>Improved weather sealing<\/li>\n<li>3&#8243; 920,000 dot high resolution LCD<\/li>\n<li>50-25600 ISO (w\/ expansion enabled)<\/li>\n<li>Live View with face detection<\/li>\n<li>Higher capacity battery<\/li>\n<li>AF micro-adjustment for up to 20 lenses<\/li>\n<li>Sensor dust reduction<\/li>\n<li>the list goes on&#8230;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All this and more for a palatable price of $2700!  The camera should be available for purchase sometime in November.  DPReview.com has posted a preview of the camera <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dpreview.com\/previews\/canoneos5dmarkII\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Also recently announced was the Canon EOS 50D Digital SLR, which I&#8217;m somewhat disappointed came out just 12 months after the release of the EOS 40D, which I purchased.
