Are you looking for a new camera? If I had the funding and spousal approval, I’d be buying myself a Canon EOS 7D to replace my not-so-old EOS 40D. It’s not that I need it, but it would be really nice! There are many great point-and-shoot options also, such as the new Powershot G11. Or if you need something even simpler that fits in your pocket, try the SD980 IS. Not a Canon fan like me? How about going with a Nikon SLR, the D5000 is a great entry level choice. A step up from there is the very capable D300S. Again, point and shoot options are always there too, like anything from the Coolpix line.
I’ll definitely be on the look out for a new BluRay player, particularly interested in the LG BD390 or Samsung BD-P3600. Although at current price points, I may also look at the Sony PS3. Oh, so many decisions!!
